Hey everyone!! If there’s one thing I’ve learned in my 20s, it’s that more does not always mean better, especially when it comes to skincare.
Over the years, my routine has gotten so much simpler. I’m not doing 10–12 steps anymore. I’m not trying every new product I see on TikTok. I’ve found what works for me, what makes my skin feel good, and what actually gives me that soft, glowy look without overcomplicating everything.
Here’s what I’ve been using lately:
In the shower, I use the Anua Heartleaf Pore Deep Cleansing Foam. It’s around $14 at Ulta and I love how clean my skin feels after using it without feeling stripped. It’s just one of those products that does what it needs to do.

After my “everything shower” routine (which I usually do in the evening), I’ll use the BioDance Collagen Real Deep Mask. This mask?? I love it. It gives my skin such a glow and deep hydration. I’m always chasing that moisturized, healthy look and this really helps with that. It’s about $5 for one at Sephora, but I’ve found packs of 3 at Marshalls for $12.99, so definitely check there.

Morning and night, I use the Thayers Exfoliating 2% AHA Pads. They’re about $9.99 at Ulta. I will say, they’re good, but I’m not married to them. I feel like there might be something even better out there, so I’m still open to trying new options in this step. Drop in the comment below facial toner pads you use and recommend!

For moisturizer, I use the Cetaphil Daily Facial Moisturizer (the night version)… but I use it both morning and night. I just really like how lightweight it feels. It doesn’t sit heavy on my skin, and it gets the job done. It’s listed around $18.99 at Walgreens, but I definitely didn’t pay that on Amazon, so shop around.
Now this next product is a little pricey, but I can’t lie, it works. The Murad InvisiScar Resurfacing Treatment has been so good for my dark spots. I don’t have a lot, but you know those random marks from a pimple you shouldn’t have touched? Or that one scar that just won’t leave? This has noticeably faded even some of my older spots. It’s about $39 for a .5 oz bottle, but for me, it’s been worth it.

And finally, when I’m not washing my face in the shower, I keep it super simple and use the Dove Sensitive Skin bar soap. It’s like $1.59 at Target and honestly… it works. Cheap, effective, and no irritation.
