Over the past few months, I’ve been realizing that “adulting” isn’t just about paying bills or figuring out a 401(k (though those are definitely part of it). For me, it’s been about growing into the woman God has called me to be, physically, emotionally, spiritually, and relationally.
And honestly? It hasn’t been easy, but it’s been worth it.
🌿 Building Consistency in the Gym
For the first time in a long time, I’ve been consistent with my workouts hitting the gym four times a week for the past three months. At first, it was about looking good, but somewhere along the way it became about feeling strong, disciplined, and proud of myself. Each workout feels like an investment in the future version of me.

🥗 Learning to Fuel Myself Well
Meal prepping has been a game-changer. I used to just grab whatever was quick, but now I’m being more intentional. Prepping my meals each week saves me time, money, and energy, but more importantly it makes me feel good. Taking care of my body through food feels like a form of self-respect.
💕 Growing in Relationships
“Big girl time” also means looking at who I surround myself with. I’ve been pouring into my friendships, deepening my relationship, and making space for people who truly pour back into me. It’s about quality, not quantity.

🙏 Getting Closer to God
And through it all, I’ve been leaning on God. Prayer, journaling, reading Scripture—these moments have been keeping me grounded and focused. The more I strengthen my faith, the more I see everything else in my life lining up with purpose.

✨ Adulting, but with Purpose
This season of growth has shown me that adulting doesn’t have to be overwhelming when you anchor it in God and set intentional goals. It’s not about having everything figured out, but about showing up every day with discipline, love, and faith.
So here’s to God, goals, and growing up because this “big girl time” journey is just getting started.
