BIG GIRL TIME

Hey Girly pops! Welcome back to Big Girl Time, where your host is psyhco!! JK JK but no seriously though can we talk about the elephant in the room… Who else is ready to move out? ME TOO. One aspect of being a Big Girl is taking that next step and moving. Whether that is moving out with a roommate, friend, boyfriend, or by yourself moving is a part of it. Gaining that sense of independence is apart of growing in to that true Big Girl self and I am currently trying to master it.

See the problem is that you need money to move and a lot of it and something I have been working on in my OWN Big Girl journey is to not rush into something just because I want to. Of course I want to move out and live on my own but what is the point if I am struggling because that is not giving very Big Girl Esc. So my target date to move out is May – August 2025. Which means I have to get my shiz together!

All of my credit card debt must be gone, I need to sell some things I have been holding on to, and I need to start saving for my deposit. I did already start buying stuff for my apartment all last year so besides a couch I legit have everything. Now I have a few places I am interested in living. I am interested in living in Delaware, PA, D.C, Florida, POSSIBLY Baltimore. All of these places depend on the job I decide to continue to pursue. I currently live in DE but work in PA so I would want to move closer if I was to keep that job. If I decided to move to a different location, then I would need to find a new job which is definitely scary in its self.

I know what type of apartment style I am looking for but just have to have a Job plan in place first.

Where are you guys in your living situations? Are you looking to move and do not know where to start, are you in the moving process, or are you not looking to move currently and are established in where you are at. I would love to know!! Remember I am still learning this Big Girl stuff too so any advice always helps. Like always TTYL!
