A huge part of being a big girl is realizing that there is more to the world than your little bubble. Get out there and go explore. One of my biggest goals this year was to travel to 3 countries. So far I have gone to Mexico, Jamaica, Puerto rico (which I guess doesn’t really count for me lol) and the Dominican republic. But that means I have met my goal and it is only July!! I am so proud of this achievement, and can not wait to travel more.
Traveling has always been a huge part of my life and I knew as a individual and with my family I wanted to make it apart of those relationships as well. The trips I have been on have included 1 friend trip, 1 trip with my boyfriend and 1 trip with my family.
When you are traveling you get to see different perspectives in life. It can truly humble you to see the beauty in other places, cultural norms that differ from where you are from and how much different your life could be if you lived in that location. This year think about taking a trip somewhere. Whether it is across the world or to the next city over. Experience something new and watch how it shapes your mindset of the world.
